Mortgage Refinance Escrow

Is it time to refinance?

My mortgage company just realized they messed up my escrow and my payment is going to go up $260/mo, but they will refinance me into a decrease interest rate now which will keep the payment about the same as I'm paying now. If I can get it done now, is it a excellent time? Is the craziness in the financial planet going to bring interest rates down or make it impossible to refinance if I don't rush?

I work in a bank. Now is beyond doubt the time to refinance. Rates are low and banks are in a lot of need for the superfluous business. I would beyond doubt look around to see if here are better rates. Many community banks work hard to compete with better ones such as Chase, National City, or Citi, so they will decrease their rates to be competitive...plus, they're more likely to help you in a crisis.

What should I reckon of when choosing a mortgage for a refinancing of my home?

You should call a lender or fill out an application online. You should also reckon of the reasons your considering doing it such as home enhancement, debt consolidation or just getting a better rate. A loan consultant can help you place everything you're considering into perspective and give you real options to choose from to better your situation.

Second Mortgage Debt Settlement

I am contemplating a tear. this is a second marriage for both of us, we have no children together.?

My inquiry is, what financial obligations do I have to my prospect ex, He has alot of credit card and mortgage obligations and my name is on some of it. I sold my home prior to our wedding and made 37.000 and also came into a settlement (prior to our marriage) of 29.000 . All of which went into our establishment acct. he told me he had small or no debt issues only to find out after the fact that he has loads of debt. I have a daughter who is 15 from a prvious marriage and hear child help and also I work full time as a RN. We have only been married 1 1/2 years. I really want out but dont want to get blocked with half his debt.

It all depends on the laws everywhere you live. The only person who can tell you that is a lawyer. You'll never find out on this forum. Check it out with an attorney, pronto.

How do I refinance on 30yr mortgage with PMI,without sad the equity and me paying from my pocket?

And is't a excellent advice to refinance with my mortgage company (CountryWide Home And Loans) or shop around other Loan companies

You will want to contact a mortgage merchant banker/broker from your community touchtone phone book or a referral from a friend or family member. Tell that person that you want a rate and term refinance with all cost rolled into the new mortgage loan.

With a mortgage loan such as this you will not get any cash in your hand and the smallest equity would be used for this transaction. You may maybe also maybe lose the PMI requirement that is vital by your contemporary mortgage.

You force also check and see if your contemporary mortgage company will do this rate and term refinance with you, only they will call it a spill line refinance. If your contemporary mortgage company is able to do the spill line it will be a lot less paperwork because they have most of the information looked-for.

I hope this has been of some use to you, excellent luck.

Ohio Food Stamp elegibility?

I was laid off in October and am receiving $302 a week on my unemployment. My husband was laid off over 3 years ago from a union painting job and his unemployment ran out two years ago, so he brings in no money at all. We own our own home, mortgage payment about $445 plus the fixed utility bills. No credit card or car debt (thank God). Using a gov't calculator tool it seems we may qualify for food stamps but here's just one inquiry. I have a SEP retirement fund set up at the place I was laid off from.......no contributions from my company. I have invested about $21,000 over the way of time, but with the terrible economy, the tab is worth less than $13,000 now. Also here is the penalty for early withdrawal (I'm 57) which would be a dual hit. The food stamp guidelines say that a person of my age can have no more than $2000 in saving. Does that contain my retirement plot?

I can't help with food stamp eligibility. I can urge looking at two PRIVATE programs that help you save on food. The names are Angel Food Ministries and Fantastic Food For All.
